Llamasoft Visualiser Built Into XBox 360 - Digital-Lifestyles.info
Awesome! Jeff Minter’s gift for crafting visually groovy stuff goes back to the way early days. I’ve frequently lamented the lack of a decent visualization engine for the PS2/XBox 1, looks like I might have to get one of them Xbox 360 thingies afterall.

Beauty and the Geek - TV Series - TV Tome
So apparently, Ashton Kutcher’s got a new TV gig - A show called Beauty and the Geek, where they get a group pretty airheads to teach geeks about sex while the geeks teach the airheads about rocket science.
Now first of all, geeks know a lot about sex (the internet is a wonderful thing). They just need to learn self confidence. And social skills. And grooming. Of course, no self-respecting geek’s going to turn this gig down.
And secondly, what the heck does Ashton Kutcher know about rocket science? I’m guessing he’s on the Pretty Airhead team…

Nivi : Greasemonkey will blow up business models (as well as your mind)
One of the comments summed it up, Greasemonkey is one of the steps to the Web 2.0. In a nutshell, it allows you to embed your own dhtml/scripts to any web page - one of the more key examples is a competetive price apps that (for instance) inserts competetive prices right in your Amazon page. This is one tech that I really hope takes off.

super OS X menubar items
I’d been looking for this site for a while and finally located it - a collection of tiny apps that run in the OS-X MenuBar. My particular iBook favorites are MenuMeters (to tell when the drive’s being accessed) and SlimBatteryMonitor (top-notch battery meter). Enjoy!

So there’s this wicked cool app for the Mac called Comic Life that lets you munge iPhoto images with text bubbles and create groovy comic-book style layouts. In great meme tradition, folks have created a Flickr group for their creations. Some suck, some are amazing, all are entertaining on some level.
