Review: Mobiblu DAH-220 MP3 player
Dedicated geeks will, at a glance, recognise the class of gadget into which the Mobiblu DAH-220 fits. Normal humans will need some further explanation.
What it is, you see, is an MP3 player/recorder built into a “cassette adapter” shell.
Now this is way slick - Belkin makes an iPod adapter that behaves similarly, allowing the transport controls to affect the iPod, but this is a complete standalone MP3 player with MMC card support and a 7 hour rechargable battery and plenty of other cool features - all for $236AUD - too bad it’s not on US shores.. yet.

Tim Cameron has modeled some fantastic vehicles - unlike a lot of what you see, Tim’s actually put a little engineering thought into the designs, so they’re not quite the flights of fancy that you usually see, while still looking really amazing.

Stopdesign | Secure wireless email on Mac OS X
Stopdesign has an excellent tutorial on encrypting traffic via SSH tunnels on the Mac. It’s primarily focused on email, but the same steps would apply for any TCP/IP traffic, really.

MP3ext: MP3-Info extension
One of the handier MP3 tools - I’ve been using it for years. Includes an icon handler that changes the icon for the mp3 to indicate it’s bitrate. Also includes a right-click quick tag editor that’s actually fairly good for tagging multiple files at once.
And it’s free!
