Ghostzilla stealth browser

Ghostzilla is going open source I must have missed this on Slashdot - Gostzilla is a ’stealth’ browser of sorts, opening a browser window in whatever current application you’re working with as long as the mouse is over that window. Move the mouse out, and the browser goes away. The idea is that it’s less recognizable as “oh, you”re browsing the web”. A less contraversial and far cooler feature is that with a simple mouse gesture, you can open the browser window in the current foreground application nearly instantly. No annoying load time, no task switching, no clicking - just a broad left-right-left action. Move the mouse out of the window to return to the application. Great for situations where you need to refer to web pages but have limited real-estate (looking up functions while in an IDE comes immediately to mind).

MSNBC - Video games hit big screen

Cinefour theaters in North Logan started a new trend Friday night in video gaming in Cache Valley. Theater managers took four video projectors, set one up in each of four theaters with a Microsoft XBox video game system connected to it, and then let the fun begin for more than 60 people.
Finally! A reason to move to Utah!

Let them sing it for you Brilliant time waster of the day… It wont get my full seal of approval until they have “monkey”, but it’s still fun trying to guess the songs they’re using.

Turns out I’m really quite poor at keeping notes. I’m also quite poor at linear writing. Rather than produce gobs of text here on the homepage about my trials and tribulations with OpenBSD, I’ve decided to move it all to Wiki format.

Apple - Discussions - iSync won’t Sync Address Book to .Mac

I just ran into the most annoying situation where iSync wouldn’t sync my addressbook to anything. It looks like this thread’s got some good solutions.

ESPN is joke in your town…

So I figured I’d go ahead and enter the ESPN Game Squad Challenge, having spent my hard earned $20 on ESPN NFL 2K5 (which does kick butt, FYI) and having gotten an Entry Code in the box and having a few spare moments to enter a 1 chance in 32 bazillion sweepstakes for a free trip to NYC (what was I thinkin?!). I plug in my code and what comes up? “Sorry, you entered an invalid game code”. Not a non-winning code, but a “this isn’t a code” code.

So I decide to go hunting for a contact email to register my displeasure and there are no email addresses on ESPN.com! That just chaps my hide. Think I’ll go drink beer.
