Sony Ericsson T616 for -$150.

Sony Ericsson T616 w/service plan (from AT&T) $49.99 ATT Rebate - $100 (exp 1/3) Amazon Rebate -$100 (exp 1/6) Your price, -$150! Everyone I’ve talked to who uses the T616 raves about it. Alas, I just jumped on the clamshell version for, oh, a bazillion dollars more. Otherwise, I’d be all over this. Edit: AND there’s a coupon for a free Jabra bluetooth headset, which I do have and recommend.

:: TOYSIGHT ::

Toysight is set of cool games and toys to play using your iSight or similar firewire camera. Using a system of object and motion detection to track your position, Toysight allows you to control buttons, sliders and perform gestures on the screen, putting you right in the action!
I’ve played with the EyeToy for the PS2, and despite it being aimed more towards children, it’s a pretty fun party accessory. Easily worth the cost, considering it’s less than such sucky titles as Unison (when new). This looks like a similar product for the iSight, which is also very cool, but I’m not about to stick a $2k laptop in front of a bunch of drunken idiots again.

Invader Zim Press Release - Media Blasters.com

New York City (October 13, 2003) - AnimeWorks is ready to rain down Zim’s doom upon the heads of animation fans everywhere with its release of Jhonen Vasquez’s Invader Zim. Anime fans have been screaming for this DVD release since Zim first aired on Nickelodeon in 2001 and now it’s finally here. Coming Spring 2004 will be the first of three double disc sets and a limited edition boxed set which promises to send fans’ blood racing through their veins like giant radioactive rubber pants. The pants command them! Invader Zim currently airs on Nicktoons, Nickelodeon’s digital home for animated hits.

PUNY HUMANS -> BUY ZIM

“We at Media Blasters are thrilled to add Invader Zim to our powerful line-up, and expect it to be one of our flagship titles in 2004,” said John Sirabella, CEO of Media Blasters. “Zim has created quite a fan buzz in the anime community and we know that it will be a huge sensation!”

PUNY HUMANS -> BUY ZIM

From the inventive mind of comic book creator Jhonen Vasquez, and co-executive produced by animation veteran Mary Harrington, Invader Zim focuses on a paranoid alien named Zim from planet Irk who believes he is at the forefront of a sinister plan of galactic conquest. Jhonen Vasquez is famous for such fan favorite comics as Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, SQUEE!, and I Feel Sick.

PUNY HUMANS -> BUY ZIM

AnimeWorks is a division of Media Blasters. INVADER ZIM will be released in early Spring of 2004. Sweet. I’ve been waiting for this on DVD for quite a while.

birdhouse.org: LinkSys/Zyxel Alchemy

Unhappy with your DSL speed? Physically separate your LinkSys router from the modem by 2-3 feet and power cycle. Amazingly, we got 50% more speed this way. Apparently, there is some kind of body chemistry between LinkSys routers and some modems (ours is Zyxel) - an EMF bleed that interoperates in just the wrong way. We’ve always stacked these things before, no problem. But no longer. Amazing.

The greatest party gag ever. Your guest can check whether the meal is ready or what’s going to be on table later…also mama can check if the children at home behave themselves. You can also check if it’s a good idea to drive out to your weekend cottage - just check the weather there and then decide. Or Or Or… So let me get this straight - If I knew someone who had this software going, I could request an image from their cam at any time? Hilarity ensues!
