PowerLogix Products - Enclosure
Start with the original PowerMac G4 Cube. The Cube was universally praised for its clean design. The new Apple G5 machines have set new design standards as well. Take a little bit of both, and you have the new PowerCube Enclosure from PowerLogix.
The PowerCube Enclosure is uniquely hand-built out of machined aluminum, and custom produced in limited quantities.
The PowerCube is precision machined using 5052 aluminum alloy, and is gently hand welded and finished into one of three colors and textures. The first is a silky smooth anodized aluminum similar to the PowerMac G5. The other two finishes are powder coated; a dramatic glossy black, and a cool white. The white is a perfect match with the Apple iPod and the new white wireless keyboard and mouse.

Amazon.com: Books / Search Inside the Book
Books > Search Inside the Book
How It Works
A significant extension of our groundbreaking Look Inside the Book feature, Search Inside the Book allows you to search millions of pages to find exactly the book you want to buy. Now instead of just displaying books whose title, author, or publisher-provided keywords match your search terms, your search results will surface titles based on every word inside the book. Using Search Inside the Book is as simple as running an Amazon.com search. For example:
1. Let’s say that you’re interested in finding books about “rocket experiments.” Just as you do today, type “rocket experiments” into our search box and click the GO! button. You’ll get a list of the books that contain that term in the author’s name, the book’s title, or in the book’s text. Books participating in our Search Inside the Book feature with “rocket experiments” in their text will show an excerpt with your search term highlighted. To see all references to “rocket experiments” within a particular book, click the “See more reference to ‘rocket experiments’ in this book” link.

In 1963 SMALL PARTS INC was formed to meet the needs of organizations that required small quantities of special parts to produce sample items or prototypes. Unwilling to purchase large lots directly from manufacturers, our customers were delighted to find a firm willing to ship small quantities of different sizes and materials. Today we have grown to a full service distribution business that companies have come to rely on for their R&D and production needs.

Today while catching up on PalmInfocenter, I saw a new application called ForPhotos which takes pictures from your Zire 71 and posts them to a web site during synchronization.
You can create a free trial account on ForPhotos.net or sync to any compatible server. You could actually set up your own server to do this because they’ve provided a spec for the photo transfer XML-RPC interface. Very cool.
I tried it out with a couple of pictures from a Giants game last month and it worked quite well (Brian’s Palm Photos). Their software takes the notes from the picture to form the caption once posted to the web, creating a pretty good PhotoBlog solution.

Apple - iTunes
For those living in a cave, iTunes for Windows was released today. I’m a huge fan of iTunes for the Mac and the Windows version looks to be an extremely good clone. I’m especially jacked that there’s now an easy-to-use AAC ripper for the PC.

Badly Informed Public
While I’ve been surprised at the number of Americans who wrongly believe that weapons of mass destruction have been found in Iraq (there have been no weapons of mass destruction found) or that there is an established link between Al Queda and Sadaam Hussein or his regime (there isn’t - and the White House tried hard to establish one) or that many countries backed the US invastion (most didn’t) - it’s interesting to see what the primary means of getting information is for those that wrongly believe any of those statements.

MagicCube4D is a fully functional four-dimensional analog of Rubik’s cube. The image above shows the puzzle in its solved state. Note that a 4D face is composed of a 3 dimensional block of 3D stickers. Don Hatch and Melinda Green have developed it on and off over several years. E. Jay Berkenbilt has recently joined us to help with Linux support and source control. Please read the introduction for a more complete description of the puzzle.
